Our promise
Choose Better is built so that what you enter stays yours and yours alone. We do not collect it, we cannot see it, and we never share it with anyone. Your privacy is the foundation of this app, not a setting.
- No account, ever. You can use the entire app without signing up or giving us any identifying information.
- Your data stays on your device. Check-ins, notes, and history are stored only on your phone. We do not run a server that receives them.
- We never share with courts, law enforcement, employers, or partners. There is nothing for us to hand over, because we never receive your data.
- No selling, no advertising, no third-party trackers. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no ad networks, and makes no network calls with your information.
- Delete everything, anytime. "Clear all my data" in Settings permanently removes everything from your device. Deleting the app does the same.
What we collect
Nothing. The app works entirely offline on your device. We have no servers that store your information and no way to identify you. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or usage analytics.
Notifications
If you turn on an optional daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. Reminders are intentionally generic and reveal nothing about the app's purpose, so anyone who glances at your phone sees only a neutral reminder.
Children's privacy
Choose Better is intended for adults and is rated accordingly. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children.
Changes
If our practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Because the app is local-only by design, any change that affected your data would be significant and clearly disclosed here first.
